Hi,
I have set up the e-smith server and attached and tested internet access  on the e-smith control console . The modem connects as planed and stays conncted as planed. I have  a laptop with redhat 7  using netscape 6  connected to the server and I can access the e-smith manager from it. The pcmcia network card is working fine.

Every thing looks ok and fantastic but I can not web with the lap top through  the esmith server.
my Isp is running through a proxy on port 8000.
I'm sure there are a few  set up bits ive missed.

HELP !
I would realy love to see the the web through the network .

thanks in advance

amanda

I can not get on the web with the laptop through the server ...was what I was trying to say....It was  very late.when I wrote that.
By the way  internet access throught the linux laptop works fine on its own, through the pcmcia modem.

thanks in advance
