Topic: Serious problems with Webmail and Server-Manager after upgra

Hi.

After upgrade to 5.5 I can no longer log in to IMP, all I see is an empty blank page. No access at all ...!! Furthermore, I cannot access Server-Manager because admin has no right to see the page, as it says.
Really a serious problem since I first installed E-Smith some years ago. I really need hel if this is a bug.

Actually, I think they are bugs. I understand that a working E-Smith Server (three years by now) should remain the same after an update, particularly when many people depend on the server to work.
About the bugs you send me to, I already visited the pages and follow the instructions with the server manager (did not work), but the webmail problem is not the same as the one I have. I visted the forum to see if someone had the same problem, and there were people wit a similar problem (http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=14308.msg54466#msg54466) and some of them sorted it out and some other didi not (http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=14308.msg54466#msg54466).

It seems to me that the problem is MySql, and the way it updates the databases. I tried to tweak it a bit, creating a new horde database, etc. But it does not work. It might as well have something to do with the blades update. I made a fresh installation and everything worked fine, but once I restored my backup it all got to the same point, no Server Manager and not Webmail.

In any case, this is the second update I have problems with. And I honestly think updates should be tested more carefully, so this problems do not arise anymore.
