Topic: Qmail-send Problems

Hello,

I'm running a SME 5.1.2 server, and every couple of emails I try to send the qmail-send program returns the email with the error "CNAME lookup failed temporarily. (#4.4.3)"

Can anybody tell me what this is & how to fix it.

After searching and searching, my problem(the same as yours) seemed to be from using dyndns.org service.  It costs to set up a cname with them.  Mine always failed when sending to a hotmail address.  Anyway, I set-up my server to send using the ISP's SMTP server and that fixed it.  You might try it and see what happens.
