Topic: PDF Generation requires Ghostscript 7.0.3

Hi,

I am trying to get Yaps working on E-smith.  It requires ghostscript 7.0.3, however when I try to install it I get:

error: failed dependencies:
        libX11.so.6   is needed by ghostscript-7.03-2
        libXext.so.6   is needed by ghostscript-7.03-2
        libXt.so.6   is needed by ghostscript-7.03-2
        XFree86-libs   is needed by ghostscript-7.03-2

Does mean that X-windows needs to be running?  Or do I just need to load those dependencies, which in turn probably depend on other packages...

x-windows is not needed, but it needs the libaries......
