I have two questions about FTP setup, I have installed the Dungog ftp chroot user package.
1) My goal is to provide user specific, FTP read only access from the internet to an ibay, and write access to myself when on the local network.
So far I have been successful in mapping the users, so that upon login to the ibay in question, they have read only access, BUT, I cannot write to the ibay locally.
In summary: - I want to provide public read only access and local write access to myself.
2) Where do the files that are accessible to anonymous FTP user go?
