Topic: FTP fails to connect

On 5.5 u2, Server+gateway, ADSL router on ethernet connection

One of my customers cannot get out using FTP from his workstation.  Email and web surfing works fine.

We tried direct to the router, and that worked ok, I have also tried it in my office, using a test server and it worked fine.

He is using PASV, and has tried a couple of FTP clients (including the one I use).

Any ideas anyone?

Fixed this.

We had marked the ftp alias for the home site as external, but put in the web site IP address, whereas the ftp site had a different IP address.
