Topic: Email addresees receiving multiple copies

I am using e-smith as a Private Gateway and Server. At this stage the internet connection is via 56k dial-up. From time to time people I send email to complain of receiving multiple copies of the same email. I am using Outlook Express as my mail client. I have searched the forums for any posts on this issue and have not found any relevant posts.

1. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
2. In what way might I try to pinpoint the problem? eg Log checks etc.

I too have experienced this problem. At one point people  were recieving hundreds of copies of the same email. It seemed related to when Outlook Express is set to leave a copy of messages on server for more than a day or two then E-Smith seems to struggle to keep tabs on things. The strange thing appeared to be if one user has a problem then everyone does. I suspect that there may have been a virus issue with this as well. Let me know if you solve this.
