hi All
I have lossed the http: server on my 5.5 server and when I went to look at it by boot drive had failed ( well it sounds like it ).
I can still telnet to the box
so before I try to reboot
can I backup from tel net
what is the best way to recover the server ( restore the boot partion)
I do have a spare drive in the machine on line and working
If I do have to rebuild the machine if I use the software mirror can I still mount a single drive into the mirrored dir tree ( I have mounted a drive of photo's for phpgallery straight of the web space)
If i do rebuild the machine How do I get hold of 5.6 or should stick with 5.5
and any other advice that will help me
