Does this new SQL Server Worm (see below for snippet from Bink http://winxp.bink.nu/) affect the MySQL server running on SME?

Last night (friday) a SQL server worm broke out and its coming in on SQL port 1434 then flooding it and bringing the server to its knees and won't respond to other services.

Shut it off and patch NOW. It seems to have impact in whole Internet performance. Some 20% of the 'Internet' have been reported to be be down at this point in time.

Thanks.

Dear Andy,

First: SME don't use bill Gates MS-SQL
Seccond:  very old one this "worm" (25-07-2002)
Third: bink wrote port 1434 and our Mysql used standard 3306

If you don't now are you don't no what read always on the knowligeBase from the Cert. This worm was posted on http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/370308
