Hi,
i have linux 7.2 running on my mahine.i want to configure squid so when user access it, it ask user to enter name and pass.if user is valid then he can access resources but if not the he should got message of access denied.
For this i have installed ncsa.
i setup acl of type proxy_auth
and set path of ncsa exe and etc/shadow file in authentication_programme in squid config file.
But the problem is when i access squid through browser i got box for user name and password i enter valid user name and pass but i got message of access denied.
plz help me..
