I want to set up Qmail so that mail for unknown users is delivered via smtp to another server inside my lan - currently I have Qmail forwarding everything to this server, but I want to be able to use the imap/pop3 servers on the E-smith server and use the other server on the lan for email lists and archives.
Any clues as to which files I should edit and how to edit them?
Also is there any way of altering the etrn command that is sent to the etrn server? I need to include a username/password, though I am thinking about changing backup mx provider so if there are no answers to this question then it doesn't matter. Also my current backup mx provider will do ODMR which encrypts the username/password details, if any fetchmail implementation allows this.
