Panel Issues
« on: February 26, 2003, 11:38:00 PM »
I have been doing some updates and custome work to my production server. I thought I had gone over the documentation weel enough and understood what it was I was going to be doing but!....
I install freeswan all went very well then I instal some other rpms. namely the
dmc-mitel-servermanager-navigation-0.0.1-2.noarch.rpm and blew out my server manager interface when I went in to set the new panels.
1) Is there any way short of doing a reinstall (I have already tried doing an upgrade to reset) to restore my default panels and then get the VPN panel back.
2) then how do you set the custom panels to show after you install the new RPMs I tried to follow the howto that is availible with the servemanager navigation rpm.
Thanks again for your help.
Sincerely;
Loren

I believe that version of servermanager-navigation is not compatible with 5.6.

Version 5.6 uses index.cgi and initial.cgi to display the server-manger and the contrib was designed for 5.1.2 which uses the files index.html and initial.html.  Since these latter files don't exist on 5.6 it could very well break your server-manager.

I would uninstall the servermanager-navigation panel and see if that works.
