If you logon to a PC as the e-smith admin user and map a drive to \e-smith-server\netlogon, where "e-smith-server" is the Samba domain name, you will see the file. Note you won't see teh share by browsing - it's not viewable.
The syntax is the same, as Samba is the open source project to enable Windows domains and shares to be accessible from Unix/Linux environments. Check out
