Topic: Problems with YUM

I have installed YUM from Darell Mays contrib and get this errormessage when running YUM from the command line:

[root@samba root]# yum
'import site' failed; use -v for traceback
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/yum", line 22, in ?
    import yummain
ImportError: Bad magic number in /usr/share/yum/yummain.pyc

It doesnt work from the Server manager either. The following error appears when doing a "Check updates":

Yum check repository report
Software error:

Error running yum info updates.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster (admin), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

What is the solution of this problem?
