Topic: iPAQ - PPTP VPN - stateless compression?

I am attempting to use the in-built PPTP VPN client of an iPAQ to connect to SME V5.5 via GPRS GSM mobile network.

It appears to fail due to the type of compression enabled on the iPAQ. Looking through the SME logs the problem appears to be with the compression settings.

Failed iPAQ: MPPE 128 bit, non-stateless compression enabled

Successful XP: MPPE 128 bit, stateless compression enabled

I realise this is not an iPAQ help forum but I am hoping some one has successfully configured an iPAQ VPN client to work with SME V5.5 or later.

Hardware details: Pocket PC 2002 (H3970) SP3 via BlueTooth GSM GPRS mobile phone (Nokia 6310i). SME V5.5
