Netgear Gigabit driver

I have attempted to install a Netgear GA622T copper gigabit ethernet adaptor to my SME 5.6. However I need to compile the driver module for the kernel. I have attempted to complie it on my Suse 8.2 box but the kernel revision is not exactly the same.

I have also attempted to download the red hat 7.1 rpm's for c,c++ development, but this also failed.

Has anyone been able to complie this module for SME 5.6 or has set up c,c++ development correctly to enable this.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Steve,

SME 5.6 is based on an updated RH 7.3. In any case, you should be using the dev tools from contribs.org if you want to do dev. work on SME server (as it will have the correct kernel headers, etc).
