Email over SSL

Hi ,
I have just gotten Outlook Express to Authenticate using SSL and the 465
port with E-Smith 5.6 and send mail no probs.
This was from within the network but it should work externally. I still do
not have POP3 functioning over SSL, well it does internally but not if you
tell it to authenticate in SSL but it does use the 995 port. Does anyone
have any ideas on what may be stopping the POP3 ssl Authentication working?
to get SMTP working all I did was change the secure mail setting of SMPT
from SSL only to SMTP and SMTP over SSL.

Mind you this was after a fresh install of 5.6 and all the RPMs:
cvm-0.11-1.i386.rpm
e-smith-cvm-unix-0.0.3-3dc.noarch.rpm
e-smith-imaps-sme5.6-0.0.3-1dc.noarch.rpm
e-smith-pop3s-sme5.6-0.0.3-1dc.noarch.rpm
e-smith-securemail-0.0.3-2dc.noarch.rpm
e-smith-ssmtp-sme5.6-0.0.3-1dc.noarch.rpm

Thanks in advance,
Mark.
