Hello,

I'm currently running ESmith V.5.6 for a local Intranet.  I have installed a web content management software that runs via PHP and MySQL (www.ezcontents.com).  It has been working extremely well.

Unfortunately that machine doesn't have a tape drive.  I ran the backup to desktop option and it seems to work okay.  My concern is does that backup option backup the MySQL database of the Intranet I'm running?

The whole site basically is ran from MySQL as the contents resides in the database.  I just wanted to verify the backup is picking this up.

I just need to know if the "Backup to desktop" backs up the MySQL databases that are created.

In answer to your question. Yes, backup to desktop does back up your MySql databases.

Verify your backup file and it will show you what was backed up.
