PPTP Issues

Installed Update 4 today and my PPTP connection from home to my SME box is staying connected nicely now (instead of dropping like it did before).

Here are the problems that I am now having:

1. I tried to install the PPTP ppp-mppe kernel modules, but kept getting conflict errors. I followed the directions on the README and even rebooted before I tried to update the rpms. Even without running this update, my connection is consistent now.

2. On my home system that is connected to the VPN. I can't ping my SME box. Keeps timing out. The SME assigned me a IP address, but it doesn't see anything except itself.  So, i'm connected..but can't ping, access files, etc.

Being that my home network is also a 192.168.1.x network (same as my SME LAN) will this cause a problem?

Ah..that sounds like it might be the problem. I'll change my home network tonight and see if that works.

Thanks!
