Topic: Cannot login to admin panel

Hi everybody!

I am running SME 5.6 update4, and I am having the following problem.

When I try to login to the admin panel from the the server login prompt, it displays the last login time/date, and then return to the login prompt.

Is there someone out there who knows how to fix this problem?

No I don´t think so.
I only have about 4 groups on my server, and I don´t have any problems with the browser based server-manager.

I suspect that the last update you applied either did not complete properly before running the post-upgrade routine or the post upgrade routine wasn't run.

What "admin panel" are you referring to? Do you mean logging on as "admin" on the console?  If so, it sounds like /sbin/e-smith/console is broken, or is not set as admin's shell.

I mean logging on to the console as admin. I can view /sbin/e-smith/console, but I don´t know what to look after.

How do I set it as admin´s shell?
