Topic: SME6 - Microsoft VPN client

One of my mail providers requires that I connect via the MS VPN client.

I use SME/e-smith as a dialup server/firwall and have the MS VPN client installed on laptop behind the SME/e-smith. There was never a problem with version 5.1, 5.5, 5.6. (Only a restriction to one concurrent connection.)

Now with version SME6 I cannot get a connection and the messages/logs indicate that the firewall blocks the connection. Looks to me like the firewall defaults are different in SME6.

Anyone knows if this is right and how to change it? Thanks!

There is no SME6, there is only a SME6beta - and the only reason you should be using it is to find problems and report them to smebugs@mitel.com. Please be so good as to do that.
