I have a server running SME5.6 and I need to build a business directory. I have been looking at the different spiders and searchengines out there, and Macurious Spider seems very good.
http://www.macurious.com/spider/The problem is that I can't even install the trial on SME, and I also have some security concerns about installing it under root.

Does anyone have any experience with this spider and SME?
Judging from the installation manual, how many hours should I estimate hiring someone to create a new user, set permissions and install the spider would take?
