Topic: stanalone proxy server

hi every one
 I rty to install sme 6 stanalone server to use as a proxy server on port 80.
when the client try to surf via the proxy they get the apache
main page.
i wont to khow if i can do that the client go to the proxy server and not to the apatch server.
I try to change the apache port but ii is not help me to.

I had the same problem and I made the following change on the client machine in Internet Explorer:

Tools -> Internet Options -> LAN Settings -> Automatically Detect Settings

It worked.

Then I cleared that checkbox and it still worked! Give it a try....
