I use SME5.6 with sme-portforward-1.1-2.noarch.rpm.
When I connect to the primary web server by
www.mydomain.com it works perfectly. When I try
www.mydomain.com:80, it fails saying I cannot reach this page.
Now using dmc-mitel-portopening-0.0.1-4.noarch.rpm, I open port 80 and
www.mydomain.com:80 works.
My question is:
I thought that using no port number (i.e.
www.mydomain.com) uses port 80.
and that port 80 was automatically opened on sme. Any explanations are welcome!
PS. What is the difference between e-smith-portforwarding-0.1.0-20.noarch.rpm and sme-portforward-1.1-2.noarch.rpm?
