Who knows if the Phorum message board works on the SME server version 5 and/or 6 ? Can I download it from the Phorum site and install it on the SME server ? Someone with expereance with these software and already install it ?

The forums you are using here are Phorum message boards. And yes, they can work om SME.

Dan Brown at www.familybrown.org has a Phorum install running on SME but if you look at his site you'll see that he has moved onto the , imho, better phpBB2 discussion board software and he has a howto for installing it on his site.
