Topic: Recompiling samba-2.2.8a-1es1.src.rpm

I want to recompile (and I have done so already) the samba-2.2.8a-1es1.src.rpm for SME 5.6.

Is there anything I need to add to make everything work, or is it simply going to use my existing samba configuration settings.

I'm not sure what "everything" is referring to but, in my experience I have not had an issue with recompiling samba.

You may want to expand the smb.conf template and restart the smb services for good measure.

Yes, I am very happy with the testing I did with 2.2.8a-1es1.  It works well with the templates for 2.2.7a.
