Topic: email / webmail not working after upgrade

I just upgraded my 5.6u4 to 6.0b with all updates and everything works except my email & webmail. I cannot login to webmail it has authenication failure , I cannot login via imap either. I do have shell access and can login in ok, also ftp works fine. the mail server is working accepting mail , but I cannot retrieve it.

This sounds pretty bizarre.  Have you done the signal-event post-upgrade after installing the new packages?  If so, it would seem like there might be a bug which should be reported to smebugs@mitel.com.

I just did a backup and wiped the disk and reinstalled sme 6  (not as an upgrade). Then restored from the backup and all is fine now.
