If users are entering userids/passwds when they login into win98, you can 1) ensure the SME Server and win98 clients are in the same workgroup, then ensure users are logging into win98 workstations with credentials that match their SME Server credentials. When this is the case users will not be prompted to provide userid/pass when attempting to access a server share for which they have group access.
