Hello,

how can I make an i-bay in SME that will be accesible thru samba to all windows 98 clients without asking them user name or password.

I know that if I make some changes in samba conf file it will be erased. So maybe someone would be so kind and write fragment of custom template and tell me where I can put it.

PS: when SME will have samba 3.0?

If users are entering userids/passwds when they login into win98, you can 1) ensure the SME Server and win98 clients are in the same workgroup, then ensure users are logging into win98 workstations with credentials that match their SME Server credentials.  When this is the case users will not be prompted to provide userid/pass when attempting to access a server share for which they have group access.
