Hi,

I am running SME 5.6 and Gallery 1.3.1 without any problems.

It is possible to view my private gallery from:
http://www.gekados.dnsalias.org/gallery/

What is not so fortunate is that if I visit my brother's company website I can still see my private gallery from his site:
http://www.indsigt.it/gallery/          (same gallery as above)

Here what I wanted to find was this: http://www.indsigt.it/gekadospics/

So I have a problem because my different galleries are not linket to their proper Virtual Domain on the server, and not protected from viewers in other ibays.

Same problem in FTP where I can browse through all Ibays on the whole server...!

How do I establish watertight doors between my different users/ibays on the server, so they do not unintentionally drop in on eachothers ibays?

Thanks in advance.

Morten

Well, for FTP you can add the dungog.net ftp chroot addon to lock a user to a particular file path.
What I did to get around the virtual domain problem with the gallery is this, first I installed my galleries in ibays, instead of using Dan's contrib (which is great by the way).  2. Created virtual domains for said ibays (http://gallery.brummell.net and http://gallery.stillman.ca) which points to the particular Gallery for each site (and of course had my DNS provider setup to point those URL's to me).

This is how I used to do it, I now use PostNuke so no longer have things setup this way, YMMV.
