Relay access denied

I am trying to configure the mailserver, but not I am experiencing the following error when trying to send mail (from a Hotmail account) to my domain:

Reporting-MTA: dns;hotmail.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;mail.hotmail.com
Arrival-Date: Fri, 7 Nov 2003 14:13:40 -0800

Final-Recipient: rfc822;sjoerd@famwissink.nl
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554 : Relay access denied

The server is behind a router / firewall. Does this have anything to do with this error?

Exactly which ports should be open on the router to have a fully functional web-, ftp-, and mailserver?

Jos,
I see your on an @home cable connection, @home blocks port 25 (see also troublesathome.nl).  This means that without tricks your never gonna be able to receive mail through smtp directly on your sme box. This is one of the reasons I quit @home and switched to ADSL.
