Well, up to now I think e-smith S & G is a great product. Now I have a problem I need some help
. I installed 4.1 with static local IP 192.168.0.100 and when connect to the net via 56K modem I am pushed down IP 139.130.*.* . And from anywhere on the wem
http://139.130.*.* works O.K. But my IP addresses allocated the my domain is 203.48.92.35 etc which can be pinged from anywhere but no http etc..
I have set up a couple of boxes before and normally using webmin I can add a virtual adapter 203.48.92.35 and it will be fine, So under 4.1 I try and install webmin but it can't install (not standard red hat I expect). I then try "ifconfig eth0:1 203.48.92.35 broadcast 203.48.93.50 (fm telstra) netmask 255.255.255.240 (fm telstran). Once this is done it can be pinge and http (normally)
So I need some help
please. the above has always worked on any versio of e-smith but not 4.1, which I really want to use the webmail functions.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
