Ibays all wacked... ;(

A:)  Kinda weird coming here instead of e-smith.org.  I had to update my bookmark...

B:)  Glad to see that the forums interface is (more or less, or indeed ~is~ the same as it previously was - it has great search capability  )

C:)  Now to the question:  I have a 6.0b3 server that I've been running here @work for a few months now that has been running as expected until yesterday.  All of a sudden, ~everyone~ of my ibays are acting as though they are password protected (ie; ibays that used to be wide open to the world, no longer are... )  The main issue is with my little netjuke that I have running here... I can't listen to my tunes!!  lol!!

Any ideas why or what is happening?

I would have searched the forums...

Thanks folks...

Disregard...

Turns out that someone (one of the helpdesk people I suspect.... grrrrrr.... ) plugged in an old device on the lan that (apparently) has the same ip assigned to it as the static address that my SME server uses.  Haven't tracked the device down yet to (A) turn it off, or at the very least (B) set it to just be another dhcp assigned device on the wire...  but at least I know whats up with my box now.  Since it was late on Friday (and I was more concerned with getting out of work!  ;) ) when I discovered this I didn't bother to pursue... but Monday will be another story...  I'm gonna go hunting in the building looking for this 'rogue' device.  ;)
