I am tring to let an external user use our server to relay her mail. She owns a domain (lets say abc.biz) and she uses BT (first against the wall etc.) for her broadband.
I have several questions but the most pressing is this
I have added her ip address into rcpthosts as relayallow
I have added her domain into my domains list thought the virtual domains blade.
I have run "tcprules tcp.smtp.cdb tcp.smtp.temp < tcp.smtp"
I have attempted to run "tcpserver -x/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb -u102 -g101 0 smtp /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd &"
but I do not know what the -u (qmail userid) or -g (nofiles group id) are.
I have added a local user for her with username and password
HELP, Since I started trying to be helpful, I wish I hadn't ;-(
Thanks
