I have a couple of email related questions,  My boss has been trying to send several emails with very large attachments of about 14meg, is there a set limit to attachment size that can be sent vai qmail? because the server has quantined several messages.  Where do quantied messages get put and should I be deleting them?

Yes you can set the limit by typing at command line....

/sbin/e-smith/config setprop smtpfront-qmail MaxMessageSize 10M
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event email-update

where 10M is the max you wish to set

If you wish to view the messages from the e-smith interface install this

http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/saco/contrib/e-smith-qmHandle/

and view on the webinterface, from there you can delete messages.

You mentioned the messages were being quarantined?  Do you have clamav installed?

If so you may need to adjust the archive size limits in the clamav and amavis config files.  Sorry but the actual file locations, names, and changes have escaped my mind at the moment.  If clamav is indeed your problem let us know and I'll post the info.
