SSH Tunneling
«

In SME 5.6 i could deny the SSH Shell by any user. In PUTTY I got following
-------------------------
Mitel Networks SME Server
-------------------------
Standard user login services have been disabled.
Type "end" and press ENTER to terminate this connection:
In SME 6.0 I get
-------------------------
Mitel Networks SME Server
-------------------------
Standard user login services have been disabled.
Session terminated
Which steps I hat to do so that I can deny the SHELL and the funtion ist the same as SME 5.6?

In ver6 go to the user control in Server-Manager and answer Yes to VPN access for each user needing it.
Good Luck

Hi,
I haven't tried this myself, but you might want to take a copy of the /bin/sshell executable from 5.6, and copy it to 6.0, and set up the ssh users with that as their login shell
HTH,

THX, another solution I found myself is
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/238807/com/scponly-3.4-1.8.0.i386.rpm.html
and change the shell in /etc/passwd to /usr/binscponly
