I guess this is the time to seek advice from experts. I am trying SME 6 as a server forwarding tcp 5222/23 to another test SME machine ( I tried Redhat 9 machine there too) on LAN which runs jabber. I can connect to it from LAN no problem but can’t connect to it from external network until I disable the unused ethernet adaptors (only one interface is used there anyway). It doesn't look like IPtables/firewall problem since I tried different machines with no firewall at all same result, tried different versions of Jabber 1.4.3, 1.4.2 same result, tried different pth packages etc etc. IPtraf utility shows the packets reaching but no use..
Can someone kindly shed some light on this and point me to right direction.
