When I went from 5.6 to 6 i found I could not use the port number 980
eg 10.0.0.1:980
I needed to use the 10.0.0.1/server-manager link and its fine.
Not sure if this is well documented, either way its quick gotcha that got me

Ehhm why use 980? I believe https uses 465 or am I mistaking? Maybe you can elaborate your question a little further?

It used to go through port 980 (not with https) and has done all the ways to 5.6. Just seems like it does not like it anymore
