I have installed Raidmonitor, and am now getting this message every 15 minutes

ALARM! RAID configuration problem

Current configuration is:

Personalities : [raid1]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
md2 : active raid1 hda3[0] hdc3[1]
      264960 blocks [2/2] [UU]

md1 : active raid1 hda2[0] hdc2[1]
      77778624 blocks [2/2] [UU]

md0 : active raid1 hda1[0] hdc1[1]
      104320 blocks [2/2] [UU]

unused devices:

Last known good configuration was:

Personalities : [raid1]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
md2 : active raid1 hda3[0] hdc3[1]
      264960 blocks [2/2] [UU]

md1 : active raid1 hda2[0] hdc2[1]
      77778624 blocks [2/2] [UU]
      [=======>.............]  resync = 39.7% (30880712/77778624) finish=78.1min speed=10002K/sec
md0 : active raid1 hda1[0] hdc1[1]
      104320 blocks [2/2] [UU]

unused devices:

I'm not sure how to interpret this message, any explanation would help
only difference is in Last known good configuration

md1 : active raid1 hda2[0] hdc2[1]
      77778624 blocks [2/2] [UU]
      [=======>.............]  resync = 39.7% (30880712/77778624) finish=78.1min
does this mean that the raid isn't resyncing at all

[%sig%]

A quick serach brought this up -

http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=9009.msg34069#msg34069

note the difference between -iv and -v

Have you checked Darrel Mays howto on this, it should be in the contribs section?

I've Checked this thread already and not much joy
ran 'cat /proc/mdstat'
there's no resyncing going on at the moment, but still getting the Email

Noted differences

I installed it while reading the HowTo

just  initialize and activate raidmonitor again, to see if the Email comes in differently
will let you know how it goes

Any joy?

I think I might have have had this problem when I was testing the raid rebuild process. Try a re-boot after it has finished.

It's starting to sound more like microsoft every day...
