PPTP Can't work on Win98 Client

Hi all,

I know you're not MS support but I have spent some considerable time on this, to no
avail.  I've got a clean install of 98SE OEM with all MS's lovely updates
and DUN 1.4 installed.

The problem is that the PC is on a LAN behind a NAT (linux) server,
but the @#%#^ win98 client VPN setup wants to dial, using a modem.  All other
internet traffic works fine, but I can't find a way to bind the VPN stuff
to the LAN adapter, instead it wants to dial out all the time.  Since
there's no modem used or desired, I'm stuck.  Any help would be very
useful, I hope one of you've come across this before.

For what it's worth, windows 2000 can handle this, and connects to e-smith 5.6 unsupp no worries at all.

I REALLY would like some help with this, so thanks a heap in advance...
