Problems printing to print server from Win2k

I have SME 5.6 running as a domain controller on my home network. I have a small Laserjet 4L connected to the server, and which works fine from all clients. I also have a Lexmark 3200 inkjet which is connected to a Lexmark Marknet Pro 1 print server, set up in server manager as a network printer, and with an entry in the hostnames panel. I am able to print to this from Win 98 and Linux (RH 9) PCs, but not from Windows 2000. The two W2K laptops each lock up when I try a test print, so much so that I have to reboot to clear. This happens both with normal user accounts and with the local PC administrator account. I assume it is some sort of access issue, but I can't figure out what is happening. None of the logs show what is going on, so I'd appreciate any pointers.

Thanks,
