Although these are minor details, I think it would be worth mention to consider the following:
I have configured "Hostnames and addresses" such that WWW and FTP point to a different host within my local net. For all intensive purposes, my e-smith box (.250)is serving only as a mail server and internal proxy; the other box (.254) is my web and ftp server. The /home/dns/var/named/db.mydomain.org file correctly specifies these entries, however, the e-smith box wants to assume that it is serving mail, _and_ web _and_ ftp.
Thus, in the "Review configuration" dialog, e-smith displays the following:
e-smith manager
http://www.mydomain.org/e-smith-managere-smith individual password changer
http://www.mydomain.org/e-smith-passwordSince WWW does _not_ point to my e-smith box, this is obviously incorrect. Thus far, it appears that this is only a labeling quirk, however, I fear that e-smith may assume in other cases that it is the web/ftp server when it's not...
