How about consideration for an e-smith-manager rewrite whereby a single mySQL database is used for storing all the e-smith configuration parameters?

To further this idea, since both PHP and mySQL are now an integral part of e-smith, switching the manager to a PHP/mySQL combination may be a good choice.
