I would very much like to see a low volume announce only E-Smith Advisory list.

As a rule of thumb I'd say any news item that posted to the main www.e-smith.org and www.e-smith.com web pages is certainly worthy of being posted to an advisory list.

Why I bring this up is because I just found out about the webmail security issue (a week after the patch was announced) and only because I visited e-smith.org to check on something else.

Please add unzip to the distro. Every now and then I come across tar/rpm files that are zipped (not gzip), or just plain zip files.

Well, as you know, you can always install RedHat RPMs quite simply from the command line. You don't need unzip for routine operation of the server software.

But in any case, unzip is included in the forthcoming V5.0
