Can I suggest a change in the e-smith installation to integrate the changes in aXon Linux back into the main project.

Why not have an 'Advanced' install button after the license agreement, which, after warning the end user that advanced mode is for experts only, etc, offers the 2.2/2.4 kernel choice, as well as other, miscellaneous options?

This would solve the aXon 'problem', whilst retaining (almost) the ding-dong installation routine.

Good point but it looks like axon has gone away.  I needed axon because sme does not support dual athlons while axon does.
