The ftp is based on proftpd

It should be possible to use a perl frontend to configure it all, including all users can connect eiteir to their share, Or to the FTP to upload, and when connecting to the ftp, all user should connect with their own passwords.

Allowing access to an ibay using only ibays name and password, and then disabling writing rights to this share is simply bad; if easy

Sure, having all files in ebay directly accessible to the users share is nice, bt a share and a ftp should be 2 separate things
