Switching to LDAP

Hi Mitel,

would be great to have LDAP as the central ( and one and only ) repository for complete user management ( no unix users, just ldap ) with authentification for all services ( mail, samba, ... ).

Having that would make it much easier to run sme in a distributed enviroment.

Great product anyway !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT SOUNDS GREAT!
EVERYTHING USING LDAP !

Later you could ask even more: Use LDAP to address book! So you could to add personal information on YOUR address book and this info is stored in directory by LDAP.

AND add external  LDAP directories to search to!
So we can install SME on several small office that work together and point external LDAP to other ones! Just imagine: never add address of regular partners on Address Books! WOW!!! Never don´t know e-mail to a regular partner new secretary ! Or new sales manager or whatever!!!

LDAP is the future (just like directories!)
