Topic: Promise TX2000 RAID1 Installation

Hi.
I got new HD's for my server ( 2x120GB ATA 133 ) together with Promise TX2000 RAID controller.

Now I tried to install SME 6.0b3 and got errors with the HD's.
It seems SME doesnt support this controller out of the box.

I installed Win2k and needed a driver disk for the installation.
On Promise.com I found a driver disk for Linux RH 7.3 ( I suppose its the base for SME 6.0 ? )
How can I install SME on RAID1 array?
I searched for a howto but all I found were some 'compile your kernel' etc and I know SME doesnt come with gcc!!!

Is there a way of easy setting up???

Any help would be welcome!!!
