Topic: Tape Backup help

Hello,

I am very new to the Linux scene.  I installed E-Smith and like it very much.  Is there a place the describes in detail how to read the backup log?

Also, is there a way to setup the backup more specific?  Backup only certain folders and such.  What does the basic backup, backup?  The whole drive or only the user folders?
