Topic: cant get to console

Hello!

Im very impressed with your product. I am a NT-user and this is the first linux-installationprogram
I seen that competes in ease of installation. Very nice, keep up the good work.

I have a problem I dont know how to handle.
I just installed the software and configured to make it run from the console manager.
The problem is I cannot log into the console. After login/password the server says:
Welcome to.... and the screen clears and I get the login prompt again.
When using Telnet the connection just brakes down after I supply the login/password.
Any ideas?

The e-smith server is not designed for users to log in. You should be able to log in as root OK. All other users have a
special shell which says hello, then goodbye. If you really want to, you can change that with /usr/bin/chsh - but do it with caution.
