Yesterday I noticed that many of the logs in /var/log had been removed. httpd qmail smtpfirst-qmail (not sure if it was first but somthing) and samba.
I recreated the directories and everything is working except my access web access to the outside. I can ping outside my network, I can also see my web page but I can not get anything outside.
Any ideas on why the files were deleted or what to check so I can get back on the internet. This is with a 5.6 install.
